What do I actually get for $29.95 a month?
The Basic Managed Hosting plan keeps a static site live and healthy: fast Vercel hosting, an SSL certificate so it loads over https, deployment upkeep, help keeping your domain connected, and technical fixes if something on the hosted site breaks. It does not include an editing login. If you want to change content yourself, that is the CMS Managed Hosting plan just above.
Do I have to host with Igloo?
No. You own your site and its code, so you can host it elsewhere. We keep it fast, patched and live because we built it and know the stack. It is a convenience, not a lock-in.
What is the difference between the three plans?
They stack. Basic Managed Hosting at $29.95 keeps a static site running. CMS Managed Hosting at $34.95 adds a Sanity login so you can edit approved content yourself. The Website Updates Plan at $99 adds us making the small wording and image changes for you, so you do not have to touch anything. New pages, SEO articles, redesigns and integrations are quoted separately on any plan.
Can I edit the site myself instead of paying for updates?
Yes, on the CMS Managed Hosting plan and up. It gives you a Sanity login to edit approved content yourself: text, images, FAQs, team members and articles, without touching code. The Basic plan is for static sites with no login, and the Website Updates Plan is for when you would rather hand the small changes to us. Where is my site actually hosted?
On Vercel, a global edge network built for exactly the static-first sites we build. That means your pages are served fast from close to your visitors, with SSL as standard. Your domain stays registered to you; we just help point it at the site.
What happens if my site goes down or breaks?
Break-fixes are covered on every plan. If a technical fault with the hosted site takes it down or breaks something, fixing it is part of what you pay for, not an extra. Because the sites we host are static-first with no database or plugins, there is far less that can break in the first place.
